Commonly known as the European larch, this tree will grow to be 60-100’ tall. Its soft green foliage turns golden-yellow before dropping its needles in the fall.

 

PROBLEMS

Potential pests include larch case-bearer, larch sawfly, and Japanese beetle. They are also susceptible to diseases such as needle cast, rust, and canker.
