House Tours Every Saturday at 1:00 pm & Sunday at 2:00 pm
Every Saturday at 1:00 pm and every Sunday at 2:00 pm, we invite you to take a Manor House tour with one of our fantastic Docents. This tour is the only way to see the upper floor of the Bayard Cutting family’s summer home in Great River, New York. Not only will you be able to experience both floors of the historic home, you will also learn about the family & many of the interesting customs of the Victorian Age through anecdotes about the Cutting family.
The tours are “walking tours” and each one lasts about an hour and a half, therefore patrons often schedule a Victorian Tea at the Hidden Oak Café to coincide with the completion or before the tour. The Hidden Oak Café is located inside the Manor House, facing an incredible view of the
Connetquot River across the Great Lawn. If you are interested in making reservations for Victorian Tea, or in scheduling a party please call the Hidden Oak Café at 631-277-3895.
BCA also offers private tours for groups of ten or larger, both of the Manor House and the grounds. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding public or private tours at (631) 581-1002.
